What if I need to remove it?

Just use a pair of kitchen scissors to clip the jump ring at the weld site. Try not to cut the chain so you can have it re-welded again in the future.

Does the process hurt?

Not at all! Permanent jewlery is supposed to be a painless and exciting experience. If you had a different experience, please let us know!

What if my chain is tarnished?

Sterling silver is most likely to tarnish. Keep in mind that the oils on your skin, chemicals in lotions, soaps, and chlorine can have a major effect on your silver tarnishing. Don't be scared though! You can use any silver polish to bring your piece back to life. Liquid tarnish remover is the best way to get into all the nooks and crannies of your jewelry. Gold-filled is less likely to tarnish, but will need regular cleanings to keep your piece shiny. Stainless steel does not tarnish. Give it a good cleaning with some soap and water and you should be good to go!

Can I get permanent bracelet if I am under 18?

Most certainly! As long as you are 13 or older. If you are under 13 we will happily add a clasp. Bring your chain back to us when you turn 13 and we can make it permanent!
